Sounds like you have to spend more time with the language! I like C# (more so than Java), but once you spend enough time with JS you will see where it shines. Unfortunately, coming from a compiled language like C#, the first thing most people see in JavaScript are the flaws.

TypeScript might make things more comfortable in your situation.
