Although, I don’t think the points about rollovers on buttons and parallax are entirely accurate. As a developer, I don’t recall anyone using 3 images for rollovers. The standard is a CSS and / or JS approach.
The point about parallax isn’t entirely accurate either if you are talking about page load times. The scrolling definitely affects page performance but it doesn’t have much to do with loading the initial content.
For many of these points, including social media buttons, it’s largely on the developer to deal with performance. But UX definitely comes into play in your last few points, which was really cool 👌
