I think the Starbucks example is a bit tricky because the desired action (and arguably the purpose of the app aside from rewards) is to be able to place an order as easily as possible. Making it the center button leans in that direction, as well as the wording. I think rewording it to “Menu” wouldn’t provoke an immediate action as much as “Order” does, but rather a more passive response.
That being said, I TOTALLY have the same feeling when I just want to see a menu but I have to go through an order flow. I just like playing devils advocate sometimes…
